Sauce d’Arachide (Peanut Butter Sauce Beef & Vegetables) with Jasmine Rice
Sauce d'Arachide is a delicious dish found all throughout the Ivory Coast, representing home-style comfort food at it's finest. At the center of this wonderful dish is peanut butter sauce. The flavor is similar to American-style peanut butter, but it has a distinctly creamy texture found uniquely in West African cuisine. Chef Veronique's recipe bring's the flavors of her homeland, but she also infuses her own style into the dish by adding her favorite vegetables, creating a filling texture with each bite. The dish has a creamy & rich savory flavor, and there's a light hint of spice with the jalapeno peppers. The beef and vegetables are perfectly cooked, tender but not too soft, while the fluffy jasmine rice is the perfect complement to the dish.
