This may become your new favorite dish, as it has quickly become famous among the Foodhini team members. Ivorian cuisine has culinary influence from France and this dish combines the style of Côte d'Ivoire with the traditional Espelette Chili Pepper based dish that comes from the Basque Country in Southwest France & Northern Spain. Veronique's recipe uses braised steak instead of traditional chicken, while her homemade sauce is based on just the right amount of Espelette chili pepper and fresh thyme leaves. Slow-cooking the steak in the sauce creates a savory and subtly sweet flavor that is heightened with a floral scent that mimics the aroma of freshly picked chili peppers from the garden. Served with fresh and fluffy jasmine rice, each bite will be a party in your mouth!
