Mitmita includes African bird's-eye chili peppers, cardamom, and ginger, and is a key ingredient in Eritrean & Ethiopian cuisine. Though this spice blend may not be well known in our region, it is considered popular due to its health benefits, like promoting healthy skin and increasing energy levels. Each piece of chicken is dipped in a batter of whipped eggs and rolled in bread crumbs before being fried to a crisp finish. The fried chicken is paired with a tangy tomato sauce, and also comes with a side of grilled vegetables and baked potato wedges.
