Vegan Sakhoo Yat Sai (Lao Dumplings)
Chef Mam has outdone herself with these new Lao dumplings! Each Sakhoo Yat Sai is carefully rolled into cute bite-sized balls made out of mini tapioca pearls. This makes for a delectable chewy and smooth bite. The filling contains minced pieces of tofu, shiitake mushrooms, shallots, and sweet radish. The palm sugar, extracted from the saps of flower buds on coconut palm trees, adds a natural sweetness. Place one of the dumplings onto a lettuce leaf with a sprinkle of cilantro and peanuts. We recommend devouring this wrap in one bit for a holistic burst of flavors.
