Can I submit special dietary requests?

Due to COVID, we are not able to accommodate dietary changes to menu items ordered for same-day delivery. You must order 36 hours in advance in order to request your dietary menu item change. We will try our best to accommodate menu changes, but we cannot guarantee all requests can be fulfilled.

How early do I have to order in advance?

In response to COVID-19, we are now offering Same-Day Delivery. Order online by 2pm Mon-Fri to receive same-day dinner delivery in the evening. You may also place your order in advance and choose a future delivery date and time.

Do I have to heat up the meal?

Meals are delivered ready to eat. Our dishes are chilled to maintain quality, and some dishes are traditionally eaten at room temperature. Proper heating instructions are provided for those dishes that require it.

When do you deliver?

Monday - Friday. We make dinner deliveries during this time, so feel free to order a meal up! You can choose your delivery date up to a week in advance.

Should I be home to receive the meal?

Yes, the meals are ready to eat, so it's recommended you are home to receive the meal. We can leave meals on your doorstep if you request this, which is especially recommended during the COVID-19 crisis.

What time do you deliver?

You can choose a delivery slot of 1 hour between 5-8pm. Pick a slot, and we'll bring the meal to you.

How often does the menu change?

We change the menu weekly, so you can expect a number of new and delicious dishes on a regular basis. Check out our newest dishes here.

What is Our Gift Card Policy?

Our gift cards are virtual and you will be emailed your specific gift card code once your purchase is complete. Gift cards are non-refundable once purchased. You can also transfer gift cards to friends or family.

Where are Foodhini meals prepared?

We operate out of our Foodhini kitchen in NE DC. It's a beautiful commercial kitchen space with amazing facilities and everything we need to bring you an amazing and yummy meal.

How many people does one dish serve?

All of our dishes are prepared for sharing family style, and portioned to be shared by two. For two people, we recommend splitting two entrees and a starter.

What do you charge for delivery & tip?

We charge between $5.00 to $7.50 depending on your location, and tipping is appreciated but not expected. You can tip during checkout. Tips are 100% distributed to all team members

What is your cancellation policy?

Before the day of your scheduled dinner delivery, we are happy to provide free cancellations. We are unable to cancel and refund orders on the same day as your delivery.

Do you offer pickups?

Yes, just select the "Pick Up" option when going through checkout. Pickups are available at the Foodhini kitchen Monday-Friday between 4 pm and 6 pm. Additional Neighborhood Deliveries are available regularly. Click here to see upcoming available pickups.
